	Yutan Volunteer Fire Department, Rescue Squad and Dive Team RAILROADING 101 CLASS
	Sponsored by the Union Pacific Railroad, Yutan & Mead, NE Volunteer Fire Departments Location: Mead, NE Fire Hall Date & Time: Saturday July 19th at 08:00 a.m. PPE REQUIRED.
	The class is intended to give emergency responders an overview of how to function in a railroad environment without getting injured. The class covers items about the railroad, areas of concern, derailments, who to contact.......basically everything that isn't specifically HAZMAT related. Including hands-on participation to cover locomotive fuel and electrical shut offs and evacuation considerations. PPE is mandatory for the hands-on portion of the class. Boots (lace up preferred, but fire boots are fine), gloves, long pants and some sort of eye protection will be required. Any attire is fine for the classroom portion of the class. RSVP PLEASE.
